About the Arts Diary

The Arts Diary is printed quarterly and distributed free throughout Brighton, Hove and surrounding areas.  Group members submit events for free listings and these are also listed in our Arts Diary Online.  The printed Arts Diary also accepts advertisements from both group members and non-members.

Submissions and Adverts

Submitting Listings:

Listings here and online are for our member groups only, at no extra charge. They include only arts-based events open to the public, not social events. Information should be sent to artsdiary.bhac@gmail.com by the following deadlines:

31 Jan for events in March April and May
30 April for events in June, July and August
31 July for events in Sept, Oct and Nov
31 Oct for events in Dec, Jan and Feb

Advertisements:

Anyone can advertise in the Arts Diary*

We welcome adverts from commercial organisations, social and community groups, as well as from our member groups.

Very reasonable rates:
Full page £80, ½ page £40, ¼ page £20.
Member groups receive a 25% discount (Full page £60, ½ page £30, ¼ page £15).
Regular advertisers, whether members or commercial organisations, receive an additional 20% discount (after advertising in any three of the last four issues).
That brings the cost of a 1/4 page advert down to only £12 per issue for regular members advertisements.

This is a very cost-effective way to reach thousands of people in the local area, for one-off events, appeal for new members, or for a business to promote its services.
