BHAC Spring Art Exhibition 2018
The BHAC Spring Art Exhibition 2018 ran from Wednesday 18th to Saturday 21st April at the Friends’ Meeting House in Ship Street, central Brighton. As always, there was free entry to the public and all exhibits were for sale. Art groups taking part this year were:
Adur Art Collective
Dupont Art Club
Embroiderers’ Guild (Brighton Branch)
Rottingdean Art Club
Society of Catholic Artists (Sussex Regional Group)
Society of Sussex Painters, Sculptors and Printmakers
St Thomas More Art Group
The “Private View” – open to both individual and group members of BHAC – was held early evening on Wednesday 18th, when the Mayor of Brighton & Hove, Councillor Mo Marsh, officially opened the exhibition.
All visitors to the Spring Exhibition were encouraged to vote for their favourite exhibit and the winner was awarded “The People’s Choice” just before the exhibition closed on Saturday 21st.
With grateful thanks to our sponsors without whom the Spring Exhibition could not be held – Cass Art, Brighton and Hove Radio Cabs, Donatello, Leaders, and Engleharts Solicitors, and also to John Hird and Jacqui Rance for organising the event over the last four days.
