Scots Makar (national poet of Scotland).

Jackie awarded the competition prizes.

Grace Nichols (FRSL) Commonwealth Poetry Prize winner, now living in Sussex.

John Agard Well known poet, playwright and children’s writer living in Sussex.

Awarded the Queen’s Gold Medal for Poetry

Plus Hammer and Tongue poetry slam winners.
