South East Dance are delighted to announce that applications are now open for the U.Dance Digital South East Regional Platform 2021!
The U.Dance Digital South East Regional Platform 2021 is a celebration of dance showcasing the variety and diversity of youth dance from across the south east region – a vibrant, creative evening of dance featuring young dancers who have persevered through the last year continuing to dance and choreograph throughout.
The showcase will take place over two evenings, Friday 23 April and Saturday 24 April 2021, and will be available to watch as a Facebook Watch Party and a YouTube Premiere.
You will then be able to view the films on our website and on YouTube for a month after.
Who can apply?
- Youth groups or individuals from Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, East Sussex, Kent, Oxfordshire, Surrey and West Sussex
- Any group that includes young dancers – or solo performers – aged 11-19 years, or up to 25 if dancers with disabilities
- School groups, dance groups, dance schools and any groups of young dancers or individuals that meet the application eligibility criteria
All dance styles and genres welcome, so if you’re into breaking, bollywood or ballroom – and everything in between – we want to hear from you!
We welcome applications from inclusive groups working with young D/disabled and D/deaf dancers.
