Poetry Competition & Festival

Held in November every two years, this is open to anyone, young or old, with a connection to Sussex.  Subject to certain conditions on eligibility, length of poem and content, you can enter as many of your poems as you want.  A well-known professional poet will assess these and select the winners.

The prizes are presented at a day-long festival featuring poetry reading, prize giving and sheer fun, featuring the very best of our local and national poetic talent.

The festival audience is open to all and is enjoyed by poets and non-poets alike, from all backgrounds, interests, and ages. Please come along and enjoy this fabulous event!
