Mabel is a young Sussex poet who wrote and illustrated a beautiful poem as soon as she heard about our Poetry Competition. Mabel is a little too young to enter the competition, but we are delighted to share her poem here on our website. We hope that this will inspire her and other up-and-coming poets – young and old!

We see you flutter by
as you fly we wave good bye.

fly so high in the sky!
