Coastline sweeps the board at Chichester

Coastline Harmony   (20 March 2018)

Coastline Harmony Chorus

Coastline Harmony, a local women’s a cappella chorus, competed on Saturday 10 March 2018 at the Chichester Music Festival. This is the first time they have taken part in this event and it was a fun day out.

Competing in 3 different classes, the chorus were delighted to be placed first in all three.  They were awarded the Margaret Pink Challenge Cup and the Ernest England Baton for two of their performances.

As usual, the chorus combined its singing activities with a chance to socialise and followed up with lunch at a local pub, The Traveller’s Joy.  It’s a good job their regular coach driver Dave is used to hearing them singing – having driven them to past competitions all over the UK.  Now the group focuses more on performances than contests, but they enjoyed brushing up their skills to support a Sussex event.  And of course winning was the icing on the cake.

If singing with a friendly group appeals to you, why not drop in any Thursday evening at the Community Church in Roman Crescent, Southwick.  We’ll be there from 7.15 until 9.45pm and we’d love to meet you.  http://www.coastlineharmony.co.uk/
