Fretful Federation Mandolin Orchestra and Brighton Guitar Group
An Early Evening Joint Concert
Brighton’s own mandolin orchestra, now celebrating thirty years of making music, will be joined for the first time by the Brighton Guitar Group. You will hear an eclectic range of music through the centuries, including some fresh interpretations of contemporary pieces. You will experience the varied textures of a guitar ensemble and a full mandolin orchestra, which includes mandolins, mandolas, guitars, cello and bass, performing both separately and together. Conducted by Lindsay Stoner and Jon Rattenbury. If anyone is interested in joining us, you will have the opportunity to speak to us and find out more! Refreshments will be available.
St. George’s Church, St. George’s Road, Kemptown, Brighton BN2 1ED
