Andy Panayi is one of the UK’s most well-respected sax players, with a biography that reads like a who’s who of jazz. In this project he looks to the music and compositions of one of hard-bop’s most melodic, yet often overlooked trumpet players – Kenny Dorham. With Chris Coull – trumpet, Mark Edwards – piano, Simon Thorpe – bass and Joe Edwards – drums.
