Art Exhibition: Edith Emma Martin 1875–1960
Edith Martin, née Dunkley, studied art and painting from her teens and painted prolifically in the 1920s and early 1930s. She owned a cottage in the Downs near Lewes, lived in London in the winters, holidayed regularly in France and Belgium and painted scenes in all of them.
