In his 28th year, pianist Roelof Temmingh presents a programme of Op.28 pieces: Beethoven’s Pastorale Sonata (including Beethoven’s own favourite slow movement), Prokofiev’s Sonata No.3 “from old notebooks”, and a hidden gem by Josef Suk, a poignant suite called “About Mother” written for his young son when Josef’s wife died prematurely.
