Dave O’Higgins’ ‘Monkin’ Around’
Dave‘s project is a tribute to Thelonious Monk’s music, born out of his 2019 tour with Rob Luft in which they played every single composition by Monk. The group’s new album, 4 in 1, presents Monk’s themes in multiple settings exploring both well-known and rarely played Monk compositions. Dave brings his all-star group to Hove including Luke Fowler (bass) and Billy Pod (drums).
