John Loughborough Pearson was one the most prolific church architects of the Victorian period, best known for designing Truro Cathedral. He was responsible for the design of two churches in Hove: the monumental All Saints’ Church and the more modest but equally interesting church of St Barnabas.
The speaker, Clare Howard, is a researcher with Heritage England and has written a monograph on the life and work of Pearson.
