25 John Collins (organ): Early European organ music by composers with birth or death anniversaries in 2020 and seasonal pieces for Lent/Easter
1 Belladonna (Sue Mileham – soprano, Jane Plessner – clarinet, Nicola Grunberg – piano): “Sonorous and Sparkling” – a programme ranging from Mozart to Phyllis Tate’s folksong arrangements, via Schubert’s acclaimed “The Shepherd on the Rock”.
8 Mayumi Ueda (classical guitar)
15 Fours Company return to St Nicholas with another eclectic programme featuring a very broad selection of music. Their programme includes Scarlatti for soprano and trumpet, Folksongs by Moeran, Hunters Moon for solo horn by Gilbert Vinter and much more wonderful music.
22 Jon Rattenbury & Brian Ashworth: Ashworth & Rattenbury Guitars perform a selection of music from their 2020 programme “A Shared Resonance – three centuries of guitar duets” using historical instruments as well as contemporary guitars. Exciting and varied music from the 1600s to the present day with works from Spain, Latin America and Europe feature in this concert.
29 Luca Luciano & Yuki Osedo (clarinet and piano): “Contemporary Clarinet Recital presenting music by Debussy along with original material for clarinet and piano”
