Marketing, PR and Social Media Volunteer Needed

Do you have expertise in marketing, PR, and social media?  Could you spare a couple of hours a week to help us?

BHAC now have approximately 80 group members covering all areas of not-for-profit arts, including theatre groups, choirs, orchestras, art clubs, poetry, radio and dance – to name just a few!   Our Arts Diary, which details our groups’ activities and events, now has 7000 printed copies per quarter which are distributed across Brighton, Hove and the surrounding areas.   We also have an online calendar on our website, where full details of their events are displayed including times, prices and links to Google Maps.
 
In addition, we ourselves organise three main events – an annual spring Art Show, an annual autumn Drama Competition plus Awards Night, and a biennial Poetry Competition and Festival.
 
We currently need a new volunteer to publicise our activities, handle Public Relations and to help run a continuous Social Media campaign.  Do you have expertise in these areas?  Could you join our small group of dedicated volunteers and offer a couple of hours a week to help us support and promote the wider arts in and around Brighton & Hove?  (Although this is a voluntary position, any necessary expenses will be covered.)
