BHAC exists to provide key support for local arts-based not-for-profit groups.

If your organisation is involved in organising activities that involve Craft, Dance, Design, Film, Literature, Music, Theatre or the Visual Arts we are here for you!

For a minimal fee join our growing group of members and benefit from marketing activities that both attract audiences to your events and your organisation, reaching new audiences and members for the future.

  • Free listings in the popular and widely distributed quarterly Arts Diary. (On request we can also undertake bulk deliveries for your own audiences).
  • Free listings on our increasingly popular Online Arts Diary
  • Reduced rates for advertising your events in the Arts Diary and on other promotional material BHAC produce.
  • Increase publicity for your organisation’s activities through our social media platform and news area of website.
BUIILDING YOUR REPUTATION AND APPLY TO BE PART OF OUR AWARDS!
  • By joining our group of members, details and links about your organisation will be included on our members page.
  • Network with other Invitations to the special events arranged by us to showcase and reward the individual talents and achievements of your own organisation.
  • Invitations as voting members to our Annual General Meeting to help shape the policy and activities of BHAC over the years ahead.

MEMBERSHIP RATES

These are based on estimated annual income of your organisation in a normal year of operation. If yours is a registered charity, income will reflect the amount reported each year to the Charities Commission.

  • £30.00 for organisations with annual incomes up to £1,500
  • £40.00 for organisations with annual incomes from £1,501-£2,500
  • £50.00 for organisations with annual incomes from £2,501-£10,000
  • £60.00 for organisations with annual incomes from £10,001-£50,000
  • £75.00 for organisations with annual incomes from £50,001-£100,000
  • £100.00 for organisations with annual incomes over £100,000

You can join at any time in the year. BHAC will charge up to the following March as this is our renewal date at which point a full years membership will be charged.

Our Members

BHAC’s membership consists of not-for-profit arts groups based in East and West Sussex. Their work constitutes variously: painting and other visual arts and crafts, drama, music, singing, opera, dance, and the spoken and written word.
