Rottingdean Art Club

Visual Arts
The Club was started by local artist Barry Hinchcliffe in 1990.  Members meet on Wednesdays at The Whiteway Centre, Rottingdean at 2 pm.
(Please note that the Centre will not be open on Wednesday April 8th 2020 due to maintenance work)
Artists follow a programme so as to be able to try different techniques and subjects using a variety of media.  Members use watercolours, acrylics, oils, pastels and collage and paint many different subjects – landscapes, portraits, animals, nudes and abstracts. Occasionally, visiting artists are invited to give demonstrations.  The club has an annual exhibition at the Grange Gallery, Rottingean, a culmination of the varied work by the artists along with cards and prints.
