Rottingdean Whiteway Centre opened in 1974. It was built on donated land using grants and fundraising. The Centre is totally self-supporting and offers a programme of adult educational courses as a means both of serving the local community and of generating income to maintain the Centre.
The Centre stands at the heart of the village and is open to all comers and the premises may be hired for wedding receptions, birthday parties, meetings of clubs and societies, and for any other kind of social event.
We offer courses in arts, crafts, languages and activities and hold special events and lectures on a wide variety of subjects.
