Formerly known as The National Association of Decorative and Fine Arts Societies (NADFAS), The Arts Society East Sussex works to advance decorative and fine arts education and appreciation, alongside promoting the preservation of artistic heritage.
From Chichester in the west to Hastings in the east there are twenty four individual Societies in the NADFAS Sussex Area which bring together groups of like-minded individuals through regular meetings, lectures by top experts, study days, visits, tours and a number of volunteering activities including Church Recording, Heritage Volunteering and our Young Arts programmes.
We celebrated our 30th Anniversary in 2019 and now meet at The Hove Club.
Join us for our illustrated lectures, doors open from 6.45pm on the last Wednesday in the month, and on our frequent visits and holidays.
Annual Membership Fee £58 (or £110 for joint members living at the same address) includes lectures, the quarterly Arts Society magazine, an opportunity to expand your knowledge of fine and decorative arts and meet new friends.
(Visitors are limited and strictly by prior arrangement at £10 per lecture.)
