On 22 November, Strings Attached was to have held a socially distanced live chamber music concert in the Brighton Dome Concert Hall featuring the GIldas Quartet with Joanna MacGregor (piano) playing pieces by Schubert, Haydn and Shostakovich. Tickets for the event sold out within hours of becoming available.
Covid restrictions, however, put an end to a live audience. Instead, the concert was live streamed and was then available as a video on demand. Some 200 tickets were sold, more than would have been possible had the concert been live. Above is a picture of the GIldas rehearsing on the stage of the Brighton Dome Concert Hall immediately before the live streaming.
