News on Temporary Closure of Fabrica

This autumn it was wonderful to welcome visitors back into our gallery for Earthworks by Semiconductor.  Following the recent UK government announcement, we will be temporarily closing Fabrica to members of the public at 6pm on Wednesday 4 November and plan to reopen on Thursday 3 December, subject to government advice.

Whilst our building is closed, we remain committed to our role as a valuable community resource and encourage you to connect with us online as we have lots of great content we know you’ll enjoy while we’re currently thinking up exciting ways to keep our exhibitions, events, projects and stories alive digitally.

We encourage you to keep visiting our website and following our InstagramTwitterFacebook and Youtube channels where we will provide updates and make new digital content available as frequently as possible.

We are already looking forward to welcoming you back into the gallery when we reopen.  Until then, take care and we’ll be in touch soon.

In the meantime…

Our online life drawing event, Drink & Draw will go ahead as planned on Friday 13 November via Zoom. Join AMi where in response to the current exhibition, Earthworks they will be offering you the chance to experience the installation through their poses and an immersive soundtrack.

We hope to extend our current exhibition of Earthworks by Semiconductor into December so everyone that hasn’t had the chance to experience this incredible animated moving image and sound installation can do so. You can watch the film about this exhibition here.

We will be rescheduling our other planned events and will be in touch about new dates soon, if you have booked onto these events we will email you with more details.

Our online shop will also remain open during our closure and is filled with lovely pieces – stationery, cards and gifts – for yourself or to send to others.
