OUT OF LOCKDOWN WITH A NEW CHORUS DIRECTOR

Sussex A Cappella are thrilled to announce the appointment of Penny Homer as their new Chorus Director. Penny will be working with Sussex Harmonisers club Music Director, Mark Grindall, in helping the ladies of Sussex A Cappella to continue their development in the a cappella world.
Since March 2020, the ladies have been continuing to meet weekly on Monday evenings on Zoom and have added several new members to their number during this past year. They can’t wait until the end of May when they hope to be able to meet up once again in person, to rehearse at their regular venue of The King’s Centre, Victoria Road, Burgess Hill.
In the last year they have learned several new songs, and recorded a YouTube video of one of their favourite songs, One Day Like This – https://youtu.be/HWiTf-mOlSY, and they are busy preparing to record another song.
