Brighton Consort

Brighton Consort is getting excited at the prospect of being able to resume live rehearsals from May 19th.  If all goes well our aim is to put on a public performance later in the summer.  We will be working on a programme of mostly 16th century choral music, with some wonderful pieces by much loved composers of the period, including William Byrd, Thomas Tallis, Josquin, Palestrina and Victoria.

At this stage Brighton Consort is also keen to recruit additional singers who are interested in early music so if you think you might like to join us for these rehearsals and the performance please contact the Chairman, Mike Clemens (Mike@brightonconsort.org.uk).  We currently have vacancies in all voice parts.  More information about us is on our website:
